Welcome to Tabatha's Potions. I've been making soap and body products for 28 years.
One day I wanted to make soap as Christmas presents for friends and family. I always hated that I could only use one type of soap that left my skin really dry. So I read a couple of books. Got on a couple of soap making groups and met someone who lived about an hour away who was a chemist. And after making a few batches, I was hooked.
It's always exciting to me to watch the process of ingredients turning into soap. Being able to choose what ingredients I want to use, change them up if I want and still have my choice of excellent products. Putting colors and swirls in soap and then cutting it to see how it turned out. To wash with my soap and check the bubbles. So even though I've been making soap for so long, I still have an excitement and passion for it.
I live in the heart of Silicon Valley when there are tech business all around. I believe that as important as technology is, some of the old time things also also good.
